If Jimbo stays healthy, games missed should be less and less of a factor in the MVP discussion. He'll get in the talks eventually if he doesn't miss a lot more games. And it would essentially take a perfect storm for him to be seriously considered for the award. Not only would Jimmy have to stay healthy and keep playing at this level (maybe turn up a little more), but the Heat need to keep winning and maybe overtake a team or two later on, and that's if none of the other candidates play out of their minds of the rest of the season. Keep in mind, there's historic precedence with Bill Walton winning MVP in 1978 while only playing 58 out of 82 games. So if Jimmy and the Heat make an insane run this second half of the season and Jimmy keeps playing at an MVP level, he just might make a serious run at the hardware.
